September Saturday

Yesterday we went shopping for school clothes with Becky. The girls just love her. We got some cute things and shopping is pretty much finished for a while (except for socks. We have approximately 112 single socks currently circulating around a black hole somewhere in the house). Poor Annie left Coat in the last store we visited and it's not going to be open until tomorrow morning. This is not just a regular coat, it's Coat with a capital C and she takes it everywhere. Charlie is hoping to go pick it up in the morning so she will have it for tomorrow night. She's done pretty well, but misses it a lot. It's been her friend and security blanket since Laura gave it to her at the airport when we arrived home from China in November 2005. Coat is looking pretty scraggly and we try not to wash it too much because the material is starting to give way, but she loves it very much.
