Queen of the Monkey Bars!

Bethany loves her Grandma

Cousins

I saw what looked like a really cute Easter project in a magazine, which involved using modeling clay and small twigs to make a nest that you could put Easter eggs in. It was advertised as fun and easy - right. Somehow ours do not look exactly like the lovely photos. In fact, they are downright ugly and a little scary. Oh well. We had a nice Easter at my parents' house, though Charlie unfortunately had to work. After a traditional dinner, we visited the park, where these pictures were taken. We were having typical NW weather- rain, sun, clouds, rain, blue sky--all in the space of 20 minutes or so.
Another major accomplishment for Annie--she has learned to go all the way across the monkey bars without help! Because of her shortened fingers on her left hand, this has always been a very difficult thing for her to do but her hands have finally gotten big enough that she can grasp onto the bars.
And the title of this post? That's Bethany's standard holiday greeting. It is amazingly cute when she comes up to you and says Happy Easter Egg, Mommy! I love you!" :)
